Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AFTERDOT collects when you contact us through afterdotstudio.com or our Telegram bot @afterdotbot, why, and what rights you have. It is written to meet the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

1. Who we are

The data controller is Levon Sukiasyan, operating the independent digital studio AFTERDOT (websites, AI assistants, AI content and automation). For any privacy question or request, contact us through the form on afterdotstudio.com or in Telegram at @afterdotbot.

2. What we collect

Website form: your name, e-mail address, optionally your Telegram or WhatsApp handle, and your message.

Telegram bot: your Telegram user ID, username and display name, the language of your Telegram app, your answers to the short project questionnaire (business area, lead sources, volume, budget range, timing), your message and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.

Technical data: your IP address is used briefly in server memory to block spam and abuse (no more than 24 hours) and is not written to our records. We do not ask for and do not want sensitive data (health, biometrics, ID documents, payment card details).

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

• To answer your request and prepare a proposal or quote — steps taken at your request before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To protect the form and the bot from spam and abuse — our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not send newsletters or advertising, do not build profiles and make no automated decisions with legal effect. The checkbox under the form confirms that you have read this policy and agree to be contacted about your request.

4. Who receives your data

We do not sell or rent your data and do not “share” it for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CCPA. Your data is handled only by the AFTERDOT team and by these service providers, solely to run the service:

• Telegram — requests are delivered to our team through the Telegram Bot API, and bot conversations take place in Telegram (Telegram Privacy Policy);
• our hosting provider — the website and bot run on a rented virtual server;
• your and our e-mail providers — when we reply to you by e-mail.

We may disclose data if the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Our team and providers may be located outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA and the UK. Where GDPR applies, such transfers rely on the necessity of the transfer to take the pre-contractual steps you asked for (GDPR Art. 49(1)(b)) and on the safeguards our providers offer.

6. How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a project are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. If we work together, the data needed for the project and invoicing is kept for as long as the project lasts and as required by tax and accounting law. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it to another service. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights; we do not sell or share personal information. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, write to us through the form or @afterdotbot. We reply within one month (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA) at the latest — usually much sooner. We may ask you to confirm it is really you.

8. Cookies and tracking

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising pixels or third-party trackers. Fonts and all files are served from our own server, so your IP address is not passed to third-party services when you visit. Your browser remembers only the interface language you chose; this stays on your device and is never sent to us.

9. Security

The site works only over encrypted HTTPS. Access to requests is limited to the AFTERDOT team. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the amount of data we collect to the minimum needed to answer you.

10. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
